golden friends

More than 200 people attended the Reeds Spring School District’s annual Golden Friends Luncheon on Wednesday, March 8. The district treats anyone 55 and older to a free meal as a way to thank them for their continuous community support.

Superintendent Dr. Cody Hirschi told attendees about the many successes of the district this year, including the football team’s trip to the state championship game, the marching band’s victory at the state competition, and the progress made on two building projects, the renovation and expansion of the Primary School and the construction of the Table Rock Career Center, which will replace Gibson Technical Center.

The Reeds Spring Elementary Singers and the RSHS Jazz Band also performed at the luncheon.
